Kellen graduated from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati with a BFA in Dramatic Performance. He has performed in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, the inaugural Los Angeles Fringe Festival as Jason in an adaption of Medea (winning Best Ensemble), locally with New Stage Collective as Max in Bent, Know Theatre of Cincinnati as Jerry in Abraham Lincoln's Big Gay Dance Party and as Melchior in CCM's Spring Awakening. Kellen also rode a bicycle from Cincinnati to New Orleans and has an awesome scar on his foot from a canoeing accident.
