- A Wrinkle In Time, Aliens With Extraordinary Skills, & The Dragon
MJ Jurgensen is an actor and musician hailing from Macon, Georgia. Post birth, MJ spent the first two months of her life here in Cincinnati. Holding no real memories from this time, MJ is excited to return to Cincy and make some new ones with such an extraordinary theatre! MJ recently played Mrs. Who & Ensemble in A Wrinkle In Time at Know Theatre. MJ holds a BFA in Acting from Oklahoma City University achieved in May 2010. Favorite roles include Francis Flute in A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Chief Bear in His Dark Materials, Judy Shepard in The Laramie Project Epilogue, Eunice Hubbell in A Streetcar Named Desire, and Reba Freitag in The Last Night of Ballyhoo. In the future, MJ hopes to continue to work towards equality for all particularly concerning the LGBT community. Other goals include chasing tornadoes, fighting fire, meeting a few ghosts, and continuing her lifelong expedition of becoming a sushi connoisseur.
