Know Theatre - A Stage Set for Alternative Theatre


	Know Theatre's educational local and touring shows have inspired and entertained families since 1997.
		The Education Program from Know Theatre of Cincinnati strives to engage, entertain and enlighten students of all ages by harnessing the power of live theatre as a compelling teaching tool. With programming ranging from the literary arts into science and higher math, we believe that exposure to live performing arts has the power to not only educate young people about theatre, but more importantly, use theatre to open avenues of possibility in all aspects of learning and life. Know-To-Go Education programming is available not only at special events here at Know Theatre, but for visits to schools, community centers, and anywhere there are great thinkers of the future who are ready to have some fun today. 		Calculus: The Musical! Calculus: The Musical! This comic "review" of the concepts and history of Calculus that tours to schools across the country as well as local performances for schools here in Cincinnati. Using musical parodies that span genres from light opera to hip-hop, the quest for the instantaneous rate of change and the area under the curve to life--through song! Know Theatre reached over 25,000 students last year with this (dy)namic production and are continuing to offer matinees and school visits across the country.
