Overview

Little Big Night is Cincinnati’s alternative comedy incubator making its performance home at Know Theatre of Cincinnati, as part of the Know’s Jackson Street Market. Little Big Night will produce regular comedy shows at the Know, most immediately as a monthly “Third Tuesday”series anchored by the improv team Off the Rocks. Long-term, Little Big Night has its eye on attracting and developing new alt-comedy talent in Cincinnati by offering expanded performance opportunities, a creative community, workshops and instruction, and, in-time, earning power.

The range of comedy covered under the Little Big Night umbrella includes long- and short-form improv, sketch, stand-up, and even one-man or one-act comedic theatre. Performances will bring together a variety of talents from across Cincinnati and be marked by frequent cross-collaboration.

Promotional support for Little Big Night has been provided by Give Back Cincinnati.

ABOUT THE PRODUCERS

Jeremy Mosher and Andrew Salzbrun are Cincinnati natives and regular champions of all that is local and good. Jeremy had to end a seven-year stint in New York City as a sports television producer, largely because everyone on the East Coast got sick of him talking about how great Cincinnati is. He studied sketch writing with the industry-leading Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

Andrew is the managing partner of Ionic Collective, a Cincinnati-based experiential marketing firm with its hands in just about everything worth having a hand in around here. A serial entrepreneur by trade, Andrew Salzbrun returned to his hometown after extended stints in Atlanta, GA. Upon his return, Salzbrun branded and revitalized local non-profit restaurant Venice on Vine, as well as initiated the expansion of Final Friday art gallery walks in the Gateway Quarter. He has developed and produced countless events, including work on the annual beer-comedy festival BrewHa-Ha.
